Population Policies.
There are three major types of population policies; restricitve, expansive, and eugenic.
Attempts to reduce rate of natural increase. Notable examples of a restrictive population policy include China's One-Child Policy, and Government enforced sterilization in India.
Encourage population growth. Notable examples of expansive population policies include Russia's National Day of Conception, and Sweden and Norway's social policies that include paid maternity leave for both parents.
Favor one racial or cultural sector of a population. Notable examples of eugenic population policies include Nazi Germany, and the United States during the Civil Rights Movement.
Restrictive.
