Latin America

North America
North America is one of the most developed regions in the world; Canada and the US are both in the top ten of development. Both countries could be argued as late stage 4 countries because they both have a stable natural increase rate and low crude birth and death rates. There are three major population clusters in North America, the Northeastern United States, the West coast of the United States, and the Toronto area. There is little out migration due to the high development of the region, however, there is a lot of immigration due to good economic activities.
Latin America's population is mainly urbanized and lives in the highlands and the East coast, especially in Sao Paulo. The population is mostly dense in the upper part of Latin America like Mexico, Guatemala, or El Salvador. In Chile, most of the population lives in the middle because the northern part is mostly deserts and mountains. In Mexico, immigrants would most likely migrate to the US and most interregional migrants would most likely migrate to Brazil or Argentina because they are one of the most industrialized countries in Latin America, aside from Chile. Most of the countries are in stage 3 of the DTM which contradicts the fact that most Latin American countries are urbanized.
Europe and Russia is the most densely populated region in the world as well as the most developed on the DTM. There are very few countries that are not into stage four of the DTM. There are many population clusters in the region. It is an extremely industrialized region, and was the hearth of the industrial revoloution. it has multiple major population clusters near major cities such as London, Amsterdam, and Paris.
As a whole, Africa is the lowest region in terms of population density and development on the DTM. Africa has the most dense population in the area commonly known as the "armpit" of Africa and there are only a few of the many countries in Africa that could be argued as Stage 4 countries. The southern part of Africa is more developed than the northern part. However there are a few countries near the Mediteranian sea, such as Egypt and Libya, that are more developed.

Regional Analysis.

Southwest and Central Asia
In Southwest and Central Asia, Southwest and Central Asia are partially below the replacement level; only Iran and Kazakhstan are, but the majority is above the replacement level. The 3 largest population clusters in the entire world are in this region and it is one of the most urbanized and industrialized areas in the world as well.

Monsoon Asia
There are many people that migrate from Asia into North America and Europe, because it's more developed and has better economic, better paying jobs. (pull factors) Also, In East Asia, there is the largest internal migration (in China), and also the one child policy. Which limits their population quite a bit. East Asia is mostly below the replacement level (replacement fertility rate). Also, there the countries in East Asia are on different levels of the DTM, like three or four, and Japan is kind of like the country in stage five. Also, there is high population density in China (mostly southeastern and eastern China where the water/ocean is). In South Asia, India has one of the largest populations. India is in stage 2/3 and has heavy population growth. Also, there are countries, Burma (Myanmar), Pakistan, Nepal.

Oceania and Australia
This is the region with the most diversity as far as development and population distribution; containing the 2nd most developed country in the world as well as some very undeveloped countries, such as Indonesia, Fiji, Kiribati. The biggest population cluster in the region is near Sydney, Australia. Most of the region is extremely scarcely populated as well as very undeveloped it has many countries in stage 2 and 3 on the DTM.
